EPIC.LAN 42 was busy on Saturday, and that was in part due to the gauntlet of the Intermediate tournament taking place. Inters is an established classic of the UK Scene, home of fun competition and potential shenanigans to occur. Some of which, we’ve covered in the past.
19 Teams ended up in Inters this time around, and the format started off similarly to the main tournament with the teams split them up into four groups, two of which with five teams and two with four. The entire tournament finished on the day it started, every match being a best-of-one and designed as a test of endurance with the only break coming in before the playoffs commenced.
