The Last Resort announce new team

The Last Resort was founded in 2003 and has become a well-known brand in UK esports, it has housed many UK Counter-Strike players overs the years including Marco “MMS” Salomone, Kyle “Swaggy” Wilson and Kirk “Tadpole” Stephens, just to name a few. After four months of not having a roster, TLR have returned to CS by signing the former K10 team.

TLR are extremely proud to announce our brand new roster for CS2.

Let the new era of Counter-Strike begin…

The last TLR roster was signed in April 2023 and consisted on the former Legates trio; Alfie “Rayman” Bench, Kerran “K6y” Bartlett, and Connor “Bigun” Suddons, the latter of which has just joined the organisation in this new squad. The team competed under the TLR banner for around four months before disbanding. Since then The Last Resort has not housed a team, but did send a “stream team” to EPIC.LAN 40 headed up by former Endpoint sniper and commentator Alex “Byfield” Byfield. Byfield spoke to UKCSGO at the event about the idea behind the content driven team.

The Last Resort’s new roster was let go from K10 yesterday after failing to make ESEA Advanced. The team recently finished second at EPIC40 and secured a top eight finish in their only other LAN appearance, but they will be looking to prove their former organisation wrong and improve on their previous ESEA Main finishes.

Although the announcement was made today, The Last Resort seemingly leaked their roster yesterday in a video uploaded on X (formerly Twitter).

UKCSGO reached out to the TLR owner, Michael “Chefinal” Robinson, who expressed how excited he is to have signed a roster of this quality.

Myself and the whole team at TLR are beyond excited to be back competing and supporting the UK CS scene. We want to continue our push to become the most successful UK esports team, and we believe signing this roster is an excellent step towards that.

The Last Resort’s current roster is:

Adam “AdamJC” Colwell
Rik “ve1nzo” Zwegers
William “wiiam” O’Shea
Connor “Bigun” Suddons
James “Flicky” Errington
